Your Role as a Supervising Clinician (LMFT or LPCC)

  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to associate-level therapists (AMFT, ACSW, APCC), ensuring high-quality, evidence-based teletherapy
  • Monitor and ensure supervisees adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional standards
  • Collaborate indirectly with school counselors, teachers, and families through your supervisees to support a holistic care team
  • Use Daybreak's tools to help supervisees track progress and adjust treatment plans for the best possible outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, timely supervisory documentation in our secure EHR system
  • Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to stay current in youth mental health care

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Active, independent clinical license in California as an LMFT or LPCC (required — we are only able to accept LMFT or LPCC supervisors at this time; other license types, including psychologists, cannot be considered for this role)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience providing clinical supervision to associate-level therapists
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Availability during peak supervision demand times (afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish or other languages
  • Experience with CBT, DBT, or similar therapeutic modalities
  • Background in school settings or working closely with educational institutions
  • Active NPI number and CAQH profile
