Strategic Operations Manager Role Profile

Eastern or Central time zones preferred

The Strategic Operations Manager is responsible for the operational and data reporting aspects of the Clinical Diagnostic Liaison (CDL). Critical responsibilities include ensuring the CDL program achieves strategy and client objectives, and functions as a key contact to client business leadership. Plans, organizes, and monitors activities/projects to maximize the business potential for client and ensures highest level client satisfaction. Responsible for using data and insights and providing recommendations to client and Amplity team on strategies, plans, and organizational management.  Applies strong analytical reasoning to assist client in solving problems and developing business strategies.  Reports to Amplity National Program Director.

Position is remote and will require 50% travel including overnight business travel.

Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:

Strategic Operations Manager

  • Liaise with National Program Director to ensure CDLs exceed customer expectations including successful deliverables achievement
  • Collect, analyze and interpret program data to identify trends, patterns, and performance indicators
  • Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders
  • Make data-driven recommendations for operational improvement and strategic decision making to enhance program impact and effectiveness
  • Ensure seamless program/platform operations, operational efficiencies, and make certain materials and activities are executed in full alignment with client standards
  • Exhibit and foster collaborative behaviors with client cross functional teams for seamless program operations, enhanced operational efficiencies and metrics reporting
  • Function as business owner for Working Practice Document/Governance/Call Guides
  • Function as business owner for Salesforce, CRM, and any other business platforms
  • Identify opportunities to streamline efficiency within the CDL team
  • Implement standardized processes and best practices to ensure consistency and productivity

Experience: 

  • BA/BS in life sciences or biostatistics 
  • 5 years pharma experience required 
  • 2+ years leadership experience required
  • Pharma data analytics and reporting experience preferred 
  • Operations experience preferred

Credentialing Requirements:

As a representative of a pharmaceutical company, you may be required to submit and maintain credentials, such as training, vaccinations, and other job-related documentation to gain access to hospitals or healthcare providers.  It is the Company’s expectation that you comply with the requirements outlined by the facilities on your call plans.  

Additionally, certain geographic jurisdictions or hospital systems have requirements to apply for and obtain a representative license. At this time, representatives working in the District of Columbia, City of Chicago, State of Nevada, State of Oregon, or those associated with Jackson Memorial Health in Miami-Dade County Florida may be required to obtain specific licenses.
