Staff Software Engineer

The Mission

Your goal is to technically lead and transform existing teams into high-performance units where Modern Engineering is the default. You will be the technical driving force in our journey of transforming our on-premise monolith product to a highly scalable, modern hybrid solution. You are responsible for architecting and delivering mission-critical systems where High Availability, resilience, and operational excellence are the standard.

• Domain Architecture & Execution: Translate high-level architectural visions into robust, scalable technical designs. Lead the hands-on development within our C#, C++, and Angular ecosystem.
• Modernization & Data Strategy: Actively drive the technical transition toward an Event-Driven Architecture (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and execute the decoupling of legacy monolithic databases into independent services.
• Resilience, Scalability & FinOps: Build with "you build it, you run it" accountability. Architect components for High Availability and apply FinOps principles to ensure our evolving cloud footprint is resource-efficient.
• Zero-Trust Security & Identity: Implement secure coding practices and integrate modern identity solutions using Azure AD and Entra ID into the core of your systems.
• Technical Mentorship (Force Multiplier): Act as the technical role model for your team(s). Conduct rigorous code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and mentor senior and mid-level engineers.
• AI-Native Engineering: Leverage AI tools in your daily development lifecycle to dramatically accelerate coding, testing, and debugging, setting the standard for your team.

• You are a Master Builder & Problem Solver: You excel at taking complex technical challenges and independently structuring them into elegant, maintainable code and scalable architectures.
• You are a Systems Thinker & FinOps Advocate: You instinctively design for fault tolerance and cost-efficiency, ensuring systems are self-healing and financially optimized.
• You have deep expertise in Data Architecture & Messaging: You know how to untangle complex dependencies and build robust, event-driven integrations.
• You believe in Total System Ownership: You know that a feature isn't done until it’s observable, stable, and delivering value in production.
• You are a Collaborative Communicator: You can effectively bridge the gap between technical execution and product requirements, communicating clearly with Product Owners and Principal Engineers.
• You are an AI Advocate: You understand how AI is redefining the engineering craft and actively use it to enhance your daily productivity.
