JOB SUMMARY

NATURE OF WORK

Ensures efficiency and accuracy of Product Configuration.
Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.  Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Provides solutions to complex Product set-up using advanced knowledge on problem-solving.
Develops/Improves RSPL Processes and Procedures.
Support in ensuring that metrics and KPIs are met.
Able to adjust to non-routine situations by defining and utilizing appropriate methods and processes.
Implement Engineering Change Requests, customer-specific request and process improvement for RSPL Parts
Create Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPL) which includes recommended quantity and Sales Leadtime for new and existing program or airline
Coordinates with Valusstream Leaders, Sales Manager, Project managers to ensure correct program information such as schedule and details needed to create RSPL
Review engineering drawings, envelope drawings and consolidated Bill of Materials to determine recommended spare parts including wear and consumable parts.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned RSPL programs

MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Graduate of Engineering courses.
Exposure in Bill of Materials and knowledge in engineering drawings interpretation, preferably with experience in Team Center software application.
Awareness of the certification framework within which the work is undertaken.
Good teamwork & can work with minimum supervision.
Highly analytical & very keen on details.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Experience and/or training in configuration management in an aviation engineering environment.
Day shift Schedule: 6AM-4PM

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.]

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
