ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for an experienced and value-driven professional to join our Operations team. As a Manufacturing Coordinator, you will guide Fluence's success by bringing your knowledge and expertise to help us maintain our culture as we grow.

You will be tasked with owning various operational activities for assigned contract manufacturers using our tools, your experience, and a collaborative fun environment.

Directly reporting to Operations Manager as Manufacturing Coordinator, you will:  

  • Acknowledge and process consigned material $0 POs from contract manufacturers, including creating material transfers, determining correct containers, and updating POs with accurate quantities per bin type.

  • Request and coordinate the transfer of consigned materials from the 3PL, ensuring on-time delivery and proper storage and handling at contract manufacturers and external warehouses.

  • Review contract manufacturers’ weekly shortage lists for critical and long lead time items; assist in ensuring delivery and optimal material flow.

  • Monitor inventory levels of consigned materials at contract manufacturer and any external warehouses to ensure optimal utilization of space and proper material storage and handling

  • Track contract manufactures production and shipping progress to ensure it meets the contract manufacturers provided plan and that daily actuals are reported

  • Ensure contract manufacturers upload all required reports and data, including daily CMMS, inbound serial numbers, container lists, proof of delivery, and other documentation.

  • Facilitate the return of nonconforming consigned material, coordinate the replacement with Fluence purchasing & work with Fluence logistics to support and close any insurance claims

What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?

  • 3+ years of experience working in an operational or supply chain

  • Experience with contract manufactures

  • Knowledge of supply chain processes 

  • Working experience of relevant software (e.g. SAP, NetSuite)

  • Prior experience working with teams to drive continuous improvement

  • Problem solver and result oriented

  • High Attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles

  • Experience tracking, prioritizing and driving multiple concurrent projects in a fast paced, growing company

  • Driven, proactive and can-do attitude. You’re hands-on and want to get things done.
