Vanden is a global recycling and trading business focused on creating value from plastic waste. Since 2005, we have grown across the UK, Europe, Turkey and Asia, working with customers in more than 20 countries.

We are now looking for a Microsoft Systems Developer to help build, improve and support the technology that powers our global business.

The Role

You will work across Vanden’s Microsoft technology ecosystem, including Microsoft Business Central, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Azure.

Working closely with teams across Finance, Operations, Commercial and IT, you will turn business requirements into reliable, well-integrated technical solutions.

This is a varied, hands-on role within a small IT team where you will take ownership from initial requirements through to development, testing, documentation and ongoing support.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, configure and maintain Microsoft Business Central, including customisations, extensions and integrations.
• Support Business Central development projects, upgrades and the rollout of new modules across global offices.
• Build and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate workflows and Power BI reports.
• Develop and administer SharePoint Online sites, document libraries and intranet pages.
• Support Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, Exchange Online and Entra ID.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, OData, Microsoft Graph and Microsoft connectors.
• Develop and maintain Azure services, including Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
• Provide technical support for complex Business Central and Microsoft systems issues.
• Ensure systems are secure, reliable, well documented and aligned with IT governance standards.
• Work with colleagues across different countries and functions to continuously improve our systems and processes.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least two years’ experience working with the Microsoft technology stack.
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central or Dynamics 365 development, ideally using AL and extensions.
• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Azure services such as Functions, Logic Apps, Entra ID or Azure DevOps.
• An understanding of REST APIs, OData and Microsoft Graph.
• Knowledge of .NET or C# would be an advantage.
• Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
• The ability to manage priorities independently and take ownership of delivery.

Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, MB-800 or AZ-204 would be beneficial but are not essential.
