Job description

Job Title: Corporate Affairs Coordinator

Status: Temporary, 5-month assignment 

Location: Remote in NY (flexible; onsite as needed)

Department: Legal 

Reports to: Brand Public Relations Manager

Job Type: Non-Exempt

Position Objective

This role supports brand public relations, corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, and community relations across multiple FIFCO brands. The position requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Public Relations & Influencer Support
  • Maintain media and influencer contact lists
  • Identify and engage influencers for partnerships
  • Support PR campaigns, publicity materials, and influencer kits
  • Assemble PR kits and track campaign performance
  • Assist with brand activations and events

Corporate Communications & Social Media

  • Manage LinkedIn and Instagram content (press releases, awards, product news, community initiatives)
  • Source and amplify content from brand and internal teams

Events & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate VIP events (e.g., Keg Tree Lighting), including invitations, communications, and onsite support
  • Facilitate legislative and stakeholder tours, including logistics, leadership coordination, and onsite execution

Community Relations & Donations

  • Manage donation requests, tracking, approvals, and fulfillment
  • Align donations with company values and inventory strategy
  • Support “Season of Service” initiatives and nonprofit partnerships
  • Promote community engagement through social content

Regulatory & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with IT, Supply Chain, Audit, and Finance to collect and submit EPR data
  • Track compliance requirements and potential risks
  • Keep Finance informed on invoice timing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, HR, or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience is preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
  • Experience with events, social media, and cross-functional coordination
  • Occasional evening/event work

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base hourly wage for this position is $30-32.00/hour.
