Job description

Our client, a Aerospace And Defense company, is looking for a Database Architect/Engineer for their Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Designs develops builds analyzes evaluates and installs database management systems to include database modeling and design relational database architecture metadata and repository creation and configuration management. Uses data mapping data mining and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop databases. Determines data storage and optimum storage requirements. Prepares system requirements source analysis and process analyses and design throughout the database implementation.
 
Requirements:
  • Experience with PCB/CCA design and familiar with electronics design lifecycle
  • Experience using Siemens Xpedition and Siemens EDM
  • Experience working with electronic product lifecycle management (PLM) technology and integrating across a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to analyze existing ECAD PLM processes and identify opportunities for optimization within Siemens Xpedition and EDM
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (such as VBScript and Python) to perform software automation tasks
  • Knowledge of scripting and automating tasks using Xpedition API
  • Experience creating library parts in Siemens tool suite
  • Demonstrated experience in PCB Design, Fabrication or Assembly for rigid and rigid-flex CCAs.
  • Familiarity with other EDA tools such as Zuken, Altium, or Cadence
  • Must have 4+ years of hands on experience with Siemens Xpedition and Siemens EDM experience to be considered.
