Job description

This is a remote position.

Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Origami Solution Architect with 10+ years of experience in the Insurance industry and enterprise solution delivery. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Origami Risk platform implementation, solution architecture, and insurance business processes, along with proven experience leading offshore delivery teams. This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end solution design, stakeholder engagement, architecture governance, and successful delivery of Origami-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Lead solution design and architecture for Origami Risk platform implementations and enhancements.

  • Define scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions that meet client requirements.

  • Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical solution designs.

  • Provide architectural guidance across configuration, integration, reporting, workflows, and data migration activities.

  • Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

Insurance Domain Leadership

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Insurance business processes, including: Claims Management, Policy Administration, Underwriting, Risk Management, Loss Control, Incident Management, Compliance and Regulatory Reporting.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify process improvements and solution opportunities.

  • Provide consultative guidance to clients and project teams on industry best practices.

Team Leadership & Delivery Management

  • Lead and mentor offshore development, configuration, and support teams.

  • Manage solution delivery across multiple workstreams and projects.

  • Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and quality assurance activities.

  • Coordinate with onshore stakeholders, business users, and project managers.

  • Drive estimation, planning, risk management, and delivery governance activities.

  • Ensure timely and high-quality project execution.

Integration & Enterprise Architecture

  • Design and oversee integrations between Origami and enterprise applications.

  • Define API, data exchange, and system integration strategies.

  • Support data migration, reporting, analytics, and workflow automation initiatives.

  • Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of the solution landscape



Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

  • 10+ years of overall experience in Insurance technology solutions.

  • Strong experience implementing and architecting solutions on the Origami Risk platform.

  • Expertise in configuration, workflows, forms, reporting, and process automation within Origami.

  • Experience designing enterprise integrations using: REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, Middleware platforms, Data migration and ETL processes.

  • Strong understanding of cloud-based application architectures.

  • Experience with databases, reporting, and analytics solutions.

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.

Insurance Domain Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C), Commercial Lines, or Risk Management operations.

  • Strong knowledge of claims lifecycle, underwriting, policy administration, and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience working with insurance carriers, brokers, TPAs, or risk management organizations.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Proven experience leading offshore teams and managing distributed delivery models.

  • Strong client-facing consulting and solutioning experience.

  • Ability to facilitate architecture workshops and business discussions.

  • Experience managing technical teams, resource planning, and delivery governance.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Origami Risk certifications or relevant platform training.

  • Experience in large-scale insurance transformation programs.

  • Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.

  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.

  • Experience working in global onshore-offshore engagement models.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
