Job description

Hi! We're Mercuryo, and we're on a mission to redefine finance by blending the best of traditional banking with the power of decentralized finance (DeFi). We believe everyone deserves seamless access to Web3 and traditional financial services, so we're building the platform that makes it real: one that simplifies crypto and integrates it into the broader financial ecosystem.

Since launching in 2018, we've grown into a recognized force in the industry, named one of Europe's Fastest-Growing Startups 2025 by Sifted and awarded Best Crypto On-Ramp & Payments Solution 2025 by Cryptonomist. We've partnered with leading brands including Visa, Mastercard, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Ledger, and Jupiter, powering over 200 products and collaborating directly with major ecosystems like Solana, Consensys, and BNB Chain.

Why Mercuryo?

Your Role:

  • Own the day-to-day operations of our crypto processing and exchange flows, including deposits, withdrawals, transaction pipelines, and custody provider activities.
  • Monitor key operational and business metrics, keep performance within target, and make routing or settings adjustments when needed.
  • Ensure stable routing across exchanges and liquidity providers, especially during maintenance windows or partner-side issues.
  • Investigate complex operational cases and incidents, identify root causes, and drive follow-up actions to prevent повторение.
  • Work closely with Tech and Fin Ops teams on provider testing, onboarding, and process improvements.
  • Track the performance of liquidity and custody partners, including fees, SLA, uptime, latency, and API changes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce costs, and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports on fees, revenue, volumes, and liquidity, and keep documentation, runbooks, and audit materials up to date.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors for support and project management.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3-4 years of experience in crypto, fintech, payments, or a similar operations role.
  • Strong practical understanding of major blockchain networks such as BTC, ETH, TRON, Polygon, and Solana.
  • Experience working with exchanges, liquidity providers, or custody partners.
  • Good understanding of transaction accounting, reconciliation, and operational controls.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with metrics, profitability, and incident data.
  • Experience leading incident investigations, preparing RCA reports, and tracking corrective actions.
  • Ability to work with external partners on escalations, SLA topics, and operational improvements.
  • High attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Clear written communication and confident English.

     • Familiarity with crypto-related compliance requirements.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive market rate salary and performance-based incentives.
  • 22 days annual leave with an additional 6 company days, plus bank holidays.
  • Comprehensive health insurance plans.
  • Maternity & Paternity leave support.
  • Extensive benefits program.
  • Flexible work schedule and remote work options.
  • Modern offices and co-working spaces across 6 countries.
  • Working equipment.
  • Professional development and training opportunities.
  • Opportunity to shape the initiatives you’re working on.
