About the Role

This position is part of our Talent Bench Program, designed specifically for recent graduates and individuals at the beginning of their careers in Finance and Accounting.

In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, supporting the daily financial operations of U.S.-based clients in the cannabis industry. You’ll manage recurring financial deliverables with increasing independence, demonstrate ownership over your responsibilities, and proactively suggest small improvements to existing accounting and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily accounting operations, including reconciliations, invoicing, cash/payment applications, and journal entries
  • Assist with AP & AR processes, aging reports, data entry, documentation, and month-end close activities
  • Deliver accurate, complete work on time while meeting quality standards and SLAs
  • Maintain low error rates and ensure minimal need for supervisor corrections
  • Build client trust through reliable support and contribute ideas to improve workflows
  • Collaborate with team leads and peers in meetings, check-ins, and shared projects
  • Develop technical expertise in accounting fundamentals, AP/AR processes, Excel, and ERP systems

Requirements

Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Economics

Experience:

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance-related role
    • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks.) is preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 

Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
    • Interest in process improvement and automation
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Advanced English level
