Job description

Description for CEP Clinical Program Manager position

Help shape how clinicians learn to apply genomics in patient care. As the Clinical Program Manager, Clinical Education at The Jackson Laboratory, you will design, build, and refine learning experiences that prepare healthcare professionals to apply genomic science to patient care, with an emphasis on online, technology- and AI-enabled, and simulation-based activities.

You will bring a nursing lens and prior experience in nursing education to JAX's Clinical Education programs, working collaboratively with genomics experts, instructional designers, and educators to turn complex science into effective learning that makes a difference. We are looking for someone who is comfortable picking up new software and platforms independently, curious and excited about the potential of AI-enabled and adaptive learning, confident in advocating for what clinical learners need with internal and external partners, and an excellent communicator. This is a great fit for an early- to mid-career nurse educator ready to grow on a highly collaborative team. Genetics or genomics expertise is not required, but candidates should have an interest in this specialty.

JAX Clinical Education (www.jax.org/ccep) develops and disseminates clinical education for professional and trainee audiences across the country, preparing clinicians to evaluate and apply genomic in practice, as part of JAX's broader Genomic Education work spanning learners from high school through scientists.
