Job description

​​​​​​Duration: 1 Year (250 Working Days) + Possible 1-Year Extension

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-scale IT and digital transformation initiatives through the complete project lifecycle.
  • Manage project planning, execution, governance, scheduling, budgeting, risk, issue, and change management.
  • Lead cross-functional business and technical teams, including external vendors and implementation partners.
  • Coordinate multiple project workstreams and manage interdependencies across concurrent initiatives.
  • Facilitate governance meetings, Steering Committees, and executive status reviews.
  • Manage enterprise integrations involving financial systems, mapping/GIS, portals, and legacy applications.
  • Prepare executive reports, dashboards, project plans, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Current PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification.
  • 10+ years of Project Management experience leading large-scale IT projects.
  • Experience managing at least two multi-year enterprise digital transformation/IT implementation projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • 3+ years delivering IT projects within Government or Public Sector environments.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams of 10+ resources.
  • Enterprise integration experience involving financial applications, GIS/mapping systems, portals, and legacy applications.
  • Strong project governance, PMO, stakeholder management, vendor management, and executive reporting experience.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple Project Managers and Team Leads across large transformation programs.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with senior leadership.
  • Experience with Property Assessment, Property Valuation, or CAMA (Computer-Assisted Mass Appraisal) systems is considered an asset.
