The Senior Platform Engineer will help bridge the present and future. This role will handle current server ops and endpoint engineering responsibilities—managing infrastructure, supporting IaaS, and ensuring endpoint stability—while guiding us toward a platform-centric future. In addition to the day-to-day, this role will champion PaaS, serverless technologies, and self-service capabilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support and optimize existing server ops and endpoint engineering operations.  
  • Design and implement PaaS and serverless solutions to modernize our platform.  
  • Develop self-service portals and automation frameworks.  
  • Collaborate with teams to evolve processes and adopt platform engineering practices.  
  • Advocate for modernization and support the team’s transition.  

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering — including hands-on server ops and endpoint management (Intune). 
  • Deep experience with IaaS (Azure) and at least one major PaaS or serverless platform 
  • Strong automation background: Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent IaC tooling 
  • Proven ability to ship self-service tooling that other developers adopt 
  • Comfortable leading technical direction without formal management authority 
  • Strong experience in server operations, endpoint engineering, IaaS, and Release Engineering.  
  • Expertise in PaaS, serverless, and automation technologies.  
  • Ability to lead, by example, guiding teams into a platform-first mindset.  
  • Experience with internal developer portals 
  • Background in platform product thinking — treating internal teams as customers 
  • Familiarity with FinOps or cloud cost optimization at scale
