Job description

Description

The Why Behind Wellvana:

The healthcare system isn’t designed for health. We’re designed to change that. We’re Wellvana, and we help doctors deliver life-changing healthcare.

Through our elevated value-based care programs, we’re revitalizing an antiquated system that’s far too long relied on misaligned incentives that reward quantity of care not the quality of it.

Our enlightened approach—covering everything from care coordination to clinical documentation education to marketing— ties the healthy outcomes of patients directly to shared savings for primary care providers, health systems and payors.

Providers in our curated network keep their independence, reduce their administrative headaches, and spend more time with patients. Patients, in turn, get an elevated experience with coordinated care between appointments that is nothing short of life-changing.

Named a 2024 "Best in Business" and 2023 "Best Place to Work" by Nashville Business Journal, we’re one of the fastest-growing healthcare companies in America because what we do works. This is the way medicine is meant to be.

Clarity on the Role:

The Senior Manager, Reporting Analytics leads a small team of analysts responsible for turning clinical and claims data into reporting that drives ACO performance, quality measure tracking, and cost trend visibility. This role combines hands-on SQL analytics with people leadership — setting priorities, coaching analysts, and reviewing work product — while acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on reporting deliverables.

What's Expected:

Team Leadership

  • Manage, coach, and develop direct reports — set goals, conduct 1:1s, and own performance reviews
  • Prioritize and assign team workload across concurrent reporting requests
  • Review team output for accuracy and consistency before it reaches stakeholders
  • Onboard new analysts and build documentation/runbooks for recurring reporting processes

Analytics & Reporting

  • Build and maintain SQL-based reporting for risk stratification, patient attribution, quality measure performance, cost trend analysis, and ACO benchmarking
  • Oversee multiple concurrent reporting projects across healthcare and clinical data, ensuring analytical rigor and timely delivery
  • Set quality standards for team outputs — documentation, QA, and post-delivery validation

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for Product, Finance, and clinical leaders — clarifying reporting needs and turning ambiguous requests into clear deliverables
  • Partner with product owners and cross-functional teams to design effective reporting solutions
  • Communicate findings clearly to a range of audiences, using data visualization where helpful
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Product, Engineering, and Finance leaders — clarifying tradeoffs, uncertainty, and expected value
  • Partner with product owners to design effective and creative analytical solutions to business needs, and with Engineering to efficiently produce these solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts to a range of audiences, including business leaders, using effective storytelling and data visualization where it's helpful.
