Agilent is seeking a driven, customer-focused sales professional to grow our Cell & Molecular Research business across a defined territory. In this role, you'll partner with leading researchers, biotech innovators, pharmaceutical companies, and academic institutions to bring cutting-edge technologies into their labs and accelerate scientific discovery.

What You'll Do

Win new business and expand relationships within existing accounts.

Engage directly with scientists and lab leaders to understand their research goals and challenges.

Lead the entire sales process—from prospecting and opportunity development to negotiation and close.

Collaborate with Product Specialists and Field Application Scientists to deliver impactful solutions.

Drive growth across Agilent's portfolio of instruments, consumables, software, and services.

Territory: Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana

Candidates located within 50 miles of Minneapolis–St. Paul are preferred to support effective territory coverage and customer engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent (Chemistry or Life Science degree preferred).

  • 1+ years relevant experience in sales, laboratory, or scientific application environments.

  • Knowledge of CMR-relevant applications, including microplate-based solutions, imaging, electrophoresis and flow cytometry will be helpful

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel.

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least July 24, 2026 or until the job is no longer posted. It is sales incentive eligible. In the US, this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $110,250.00 - $183,750.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
