Job description

Job Description Summary:

Location: Atlanta, GA OR Philadelphia, PA

At The Coca‑Cola Company, we create loved brands and deliver sustainable value for a better shared future. Our global system thrives on innovation, collaborative relationships, and operational excellence. This role—Senior Manager, National Sales – Dispensed—focuses on one of the most meaningful customer segments we serve: the Military. By ensuring our iconic brands are available in commissaries, dining facilities, and military foodservice operations, you will contribute to the wellbeing and daily experience of service members and their families across bases and communities.

Success in this position requires strategic agility, deep relationship-building skills, and a passion for partnership. You will lead engagement with military customers, shaping business plans that reflect their unique environment while leveraging Coca‑Cola’s dispensing innovations like Freestyle, Refresh Server, and premium beverage options. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact in a network that values trust, resilience, and operational excellence. If you are results-driven and energized by collaboration with stakeholders across customer teams, bottlers, and distributors, this position is designed for you.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Develop national account plans for military foodservice and commissary programs, driving initiatives that expand brand presence and align with customer objectives.

  • Build and nurture senior-level relationships with Department of Defense procurement, commissary leadership, and military channel operators to ensure programs deliver shared value.

  • Lead collaborative business planning sessions with bottlers, distributors, and cross-functional Coca‑Cola teams to activate portfolio priorities within military channels.

  • Partner with supply chain teams to ensure continuity of service and operational excellence across direct and distributor delivery programs.

  • Monitor and communicate competitor activity within the military foodservice space, leveraging insights to refine strategies and support category leadership.

  • Activate Coca‑Cola North America’s dispensing innovations—such as Freestyle, tea, and juice platforms—at commissary and mess hall locations nationwide.

  • Manage collaborative stewardship routines with distributor partners, tracking performance against strategic objectives and operational KPIs.

  • Drive supply chain efficiency by contributing to transportation strategies and ensuring adherence to on-base delivery requirements.

  • Support marketing and innovation programs tailored to military community needs, connecting global brand initiatives with localized execution.

  • Champion problem resolution and continuous improvement, eliminating barriers to service and enhancing overall satisfaction in military accounts.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or supply chain (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of national account sales experience in beverage or consumer packaged goods; foodservice and dispensed beverage experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and collaborate across internal teams, distribution systems, and customer networks.

  • Knowledge of military procurement processes, foodservice operations, or commissary systems strongly preferred.

  • Relationship management skills with demonstrated success in engaging suppliers, contractors, and bottlers for joint outcomes.

  • Expertise in supply chain operations and transportation modes, including intermodal and military distribution requirements.

  • Strong analytical skills to identify competitive threats, optimize pricing, and deliver insights-based recommendations.

  • Digital fluency with CRM tools and reporting systems; familiarity with AI-enabled forecasting is a plus.

  • Resilient and adaptable in highly structured environments with unique regulatory and logistical considerations.

  • Ability to drive win-win solutions through creative problem solving and strategic negotiation.

What We’ll Do for You

  • Provide opportunities to lead initiatives that deliver meaningful value to military communities while advancing Coca‑Cola’s growth agenda.

  • Empower you with innovation-driven tools and insights for shaping the dispensed beverage experience in complex operational environments.

  • Equip you with collaborative networks across bottler, distributor, and customer systems for enhanced performance and leadership development.

  • Enable your contribution to operational strategies that strengthen supply and service excellence in one of Coca‑Cola’s most purpose-driven channels.
