About the Role

Step is looking for our next Recruiting Coordinator to manage the day-to-day details that keep our recruiting engine running smoothly and ensure a great experience for every candidate. You'll be a key representative of Step's recruiting process — supporting candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company. In this role, you will:

  • Own end-to-end interview scheduling across multiple time zones and complex panel interviews
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a warm, responsive, and professional experience throughout the process
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to keep requisitions, pipelines, and interview feedback organized and on track
  • Continuously look for ways to improve recruiting workflows and candidate experience
  • Coordinate candidate travel and expenses

Logistics

Location: Remote or San Mateo, CA, with occasional travel for team offsites and key meetings

Education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
