Our client is a dual-badged TikTok Marketing Partner and TikTok Shops Partner — one of a select group of agencies with verified expertise across both the platform and its commerce ecosystem. That relationship gives their clients access to early platform intelligence, beta features, and direct TTS support that most agencies simply cannot offer. The Senior Social Commerce Strategist is a lead operator and strategic owner of TikTok Shop affiliate programs across their client portfolio. This is not a support role — it is the engine. You own the programs, the clients, the performance, and the process.

Responsibilities

  • TikTok Shop Affiliate Strategy & Program Leadership
    • Own the end-to-end strategy and execution of TikTok Shop affiliate programs across all assigned client accounts.
    • Define program architecture: creator targeting, product prioritization, sampling strategy, incentive structures, and GMV growth levers.
    • Set performance benchmarks and program goals in alignment with client objectives; own accountability for hitting them.
    • Identify what is working, what is not, and make rapid adjustments to improve content throughput, conversion, and affiliate GMV.
    • Stay current on TikTok Shop platform updates, algorithm shifts, and affiliate ecosystem changes — and translate those into program decisions ahead of the curve.
  • Client Ownership & Relationship Management
    • Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for clients across your portfolio — leading calls, presenting performance, and driving program direction.
    • Translate client goals into executable program strategy; push back when needed, and bring clear recommendations rather than just updates.
    • Prepare and deliver weekly performance reports, monthly reviews, and strategic recommendations; proactively surface trends and opportunities before clients ask.
    • Own follow-through after every client touchpoint — nothing slips because you were the last one in the room.
  • Creator & Affiliate Program Execution
    • Lead creator sourcing, outreach strategy, and affiliate activation across TikTok Shop Affiliate Center — with a focus on conversion potential and product-creator fit, not follower count.
    • Own the full affiliate approval, sampling, and activation workflow; maintain clean pipeline visibility across creator status, shipment tracking, content output, and GMV contribution.
    • Develop and refine outreach messaging, creator briefs, and activation sequences that consistently improve response rates and content output.
    • Re-engage underperforming creators, identify drop-off points in the funnel, and build systems to address them at scale.
    • Manage paid creator activations where applicable — tracking deliverables, usage rights, and performance against spend.
  • Sampling & Backend Operations
    • Own sampling strategy and execution inside TikTok Shop Seller Center and Affiliate Center — approvals, volume management, product availability, and throughput monitoring.
    • Maintain full visibility into the sample-to-video funnel; identify where conversion is breaking and fix it fast.
    • Flag and resolve operational issues — low acceptance rates, out-of-stock products, weak content output — before they become client-level problems.
    • Build backend QA processes that catch errors early and keep program data clean and trustworthy.
  • Reporting & Performance Intelligence
    • Own program reporting across GMV, content volume, affiliate participation, sample acceptance, click-through, and conversion — keeping data clean, current, and decision ready.
    • Independently build, maintain, and optimize performance dashboards that give the team and clients real-time visibility into program health — not just interpret reports prepared by others.
    • Surface tactical opportunities from the data: creators to reactivate, products losing momentum, campaigns underdelivering on sample-to-video conversion.
    • Contribute performance insights that inform broader client strategy and new business recommendations.
  • Systems, Process & Team Building
    • Build the SOPs, playbooks, and operational infrastructure that allow programs to scale beyond what any one person can hold in their head — and become a competitive differentiator in new business conversations.
    • As the team grows, you will be the person newer hires are onboarded into — set the standard for how this function runs.
    • Partner with offshore resources where applicable; own the briefing, QA, and output quality of anything they touch.
    • Identify gaps in tooling, workflow, or capacity and bring solutions — not just flags — to leadership.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in TikTok Shop affiliate marketing, creator commerce, influencer marketing, or social commerce — with direct, hands-on program ownership.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on TikTok Shop Affiliate Center management across more than one brand or client. Candidates whose experience is limited to a single in-house shop will not be considered.
  • Deep, working knowledge of TikTok Shop Affiliate Center and Seller Center — not surface-level familiarity. You know how the platform behaves and where the levers are.
  • Demonstrated ability to own client relationships: leading calls, managing expectations, presenting performance, and driving strategy.
  • Proven track record of driving GMV and maximizing Shop ROAS over sustained, multi quarter cycles across creator and affiliate programs at scale.
  • Proven ability to independently build, maintain, and optimize performance dashboards — not just interpret reports prepared by others. You pull the data, structure it, and act on what it tells you.
  • Experience building or improving operational systems — trackers, SOPs, workflows — that make programs run faster and more consistently.
  • Clear, direct communicator — with clients, creators, and internal teams. You write well, you run tight calls, and you do not let things get ambiguous.
  • High ownership mentality; you do not wait to be asked and you do not let things fall through the cracks.
