ABOUT PROJECT

As a Solution Architect, you will design practical, competitive, and compliant solutions for government sector opportunities. Your responsibilities will include gathering and synthesizing business needs, constraints, and stakeholder requirements to define architecture drivers and quality attributes.

You will operate at the intersection of customer needs, business objectives, technology excellence, and delivery capabilities—translating complex requirements into clear solution concepts and compelling proposal responses.

This position is ideal for a Senior Architect who enjoys influencing technology decisions, aligning business needs with technical direction, and contributing to strong, competitive proposals.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 8+ years of experience in software development using technologies such as .NET, JavaScript, or Java
  • 3+ years of experience in technical leadership and software architecture
  • Experience with pricing, effort estimation, and contribution to commercial proposals.
  • Experience working in the government sector, or compliance-heavy environments
  • Strong understanding of AI-related solutions, including the ability to design and position AI-enabled systems and integrations in pre-sales engagements
  • Hands-on experience supporting proposal work, especially RFP and RFI responses and technical bid activities
  • Good understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud (AWS and Azure), cybersecurity, integration, data, and modern delivery practices
  • Ability to define architecture drivers, quality attributes, constraints, and trade-offs for complex solutions
  • Strong understanding of non-functional requirements, including performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability. Familiarity with ISO 25010 and practical experience in NFR gathering and validation is a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a simple way
  • Confidence in senior stakeholder discussions and the ability to build trusted advisor relationships with clients
  • Business-focused thinking, flexibility, including the ability to connect technical recommendations with client goals and business impact
  • At least Upper-Intermediate English is preferred, especially for proposal work and client communication
  • Advanced or Native Ukrainian language

  • RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather and synthesize business needs, constraints, and limitations across multiple stakeholders to define architecture drivers and quality attributes
  • Perform and own ballpark estimations and high-level risk evaluation
  • Design end-to-end solution concepts, architectural vision, technical stack, work breakdown structure, delivery approaches, and technical responses
  • Review and compare solution options using trade-off analysis and other structured evaluation methods
  • Work closely with sales organization, business analysts, UX designers, engagement managers, and domain experts to shape competitive proposals
  • Prepare technical proposal content, including architecture vision and diagrams, assumptions, risks, work breakdown structure, estimates, pricing input, and compliance-related input
  • Support workshops, discovery sessions, presentations, and proposal presentations
  • Ensure proposed solutions are feasible, secure, competitive, and aligned with delivery capabilities
  • Develop proofs of concept or quick prototypes to support the technical vision and reduce solution risk
  • Contribute to statements of work, team qualifications, compliance matrices, technical narratives, and delivery team composition concepts
  • Communicate complex technical ideas in a clear way to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Support transition from presales to delivery phase through knowledge transfer and architectural supervision at project start
