Job description

Valinor is a new type of defense and government tech company focused on solving the problems others don't. Our unique model of centralized go-to-market and decentralized engineering allows us to move with unparalleled efficiency to identify unmet needs, build right-sized solutions, and get products where they matter most - in the hands of users. Unlike others in the space, who focus on the flashy problems, Valinor exists to solve the quiet, unaddressed problems-the small but significant ones that lead to cracks in the country's strength, stability, and security.

Backed by General Catalyst, Founders Fund, and Friends & Family Capital, Valinor was founded in 2024 and has established strategic partnerships with Palantir, Anduril, and Helsing. We are building the dream team, and we want you on it.

About The Role

Valinor Streamline is seeking a highly resourceful Product Operations team member to work directly with the General Manager and help bring the business into its next phase of growth. Sitting at the intersection of customers, product, engineering, and growth, you will translate customer needs into action, coordinate product delivery, and build the processes and tools that help a small team scale. This is a hands-on role for a curious generalist who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, building things, and taking ownership beyond a narrowly defined job description.

What You'll Do

  • Product Delivery: Coordinate product priorities and delivery across the General Manager, engineering, Hub growth team, and customers.

  • Customer Feedback: Capture customer needs, identify recurring themes, and translate feedback into clear product requirements, tickets, and projects.

  • Customer Support: Own the customer issue and escalation process, resolving questions directly when possible and routing more complex needs to the appropriate team.

  • Processes and Documentation: Build the workflows, documentation, standard operating procedures, and communications that help Streamline operate efficiently as it grows.

  • Demos and Tools: Create product demos, prototypes, automations, and lightweight internal tools using low-code and AI-assisted platforms.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in product operations, product management, implementation, business operations or another customer-facing role in a technology environment. Experience supporting U.S. Government or complex enterprise customers is preferred.

  • Bias for Action: A proactive, hands-on working style with the judgment to identify what needs to be done and the ownership to follow through.

  • Customer Judgment: Strong interpersonal instincts and the ability to understand customer needs, navigate different stakeholders, and turn ambiguity into clear next steps.

  • Product Curiosity: Genuine interest in how products work, with the confidence to form opinions, ask thoughtful questions, and contribute to product decisions.

  • Technical Fluency: Comfort working with engineers and using low-code, automation, and AI-assisted tools to build workflows, demos, prototypes, or internal solutions.

What Valinor Offers

  • Competitive salary, equity packages, and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance - fully covered for employees, 401K, development stipends, among others.

  • Unlimited PTO and two-week company holiday at the end of every calendar year.

  • We are a pro-mental health and pro-family company - we actually encourage employees to spend time with themselves and their families. Valinor also provides fertility benefits to those just beginning that journey.

  • Fun work environment - we like to laugh and take care of each other, but we also deeply respect the mission in front of us.

This role requires the candidate be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. Active clearance preferred, but not required.
