Job description

Turn user insights into unforgettable digital journeys,
creating lasting memories for every Prep Athlete

What You’ll Do

You will shape and elevate how audiences engage across digital and touchpoints. You will design and run A/B tests to drive improvements in conversion, engagement, and pricing. You will research and recommend innovative design frameworks and interactive features that boost user acquisition and retention while maintaining a consistent brand voice. You will own the rollout and QA of customer-facing web features, ensuring accessibility and performance standards are met. You will also review customer feedback and facilitate user research to uncover and escalate UX signals and provide actionable insights. Finally, you will help streamline the Audience & Experience Web Development Queue by ensuring tasks are clearly documented and supported with QA requirements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Experimentation. Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to improve conversion, engagement, and pricing effectiveness across digital and event touchpoints.
  • Innovation. Research and recommend best-in-class design frameworks and interactive features to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention while maintaining brand voice.
  • Quality Assurance. Own QA and maintenance of customer-facing web features, identifying bugs and ensuring consistency and accessibility adherence.
  • User Insights. Review customer feedback and facilitate user research to uncover and escalate UX signals and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaboration. Assist with the Audience and Experience Web Dev Queue, ensuring tasks are well-documented with clear QA requirements.

Must-Haves in a Candidate

  • Analytical and Data-Driven.  Proven ability to uncover insights from user behavior, surveys, and testing tools to inform impactful decisions.
  • A Strategic Thinker.  Design and execute experiments that directly improve key business metrics like conversion, engagement, and retention.
  • Visual Communicator. Comfortable using tools like Figma, v0, Cursor, or Miro to translate product enhancement ideas into prototypes that are visually clear and technically buildable.
  • Detail-Oriented.  Possesses a meticulous eye for quality to ensure every feature rollout, campaign, and user touchpoint adheres to brand and accessibility standards.
  • A Strong Collaborator.  Capable of influencing cross-functional teams with data-backed recommendations and introducing best-in-class UX and content practices.

Nice-to-Haves in a Candidate

  • Design Systems Awareness. Understands how design systems and shared patterns keep multiple brands or products feeling cohesive, even as features scale and evolve.
  • Operational Excellence. Experience using collaboration tools like Slack and Asana, with exposure to frameworks such as EOS/Traction to streamline workflows and team alignment.
  • Problem-Solving & Collaboration. Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills with the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and cross-functional priorities.
  • Education & Passion. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and enthusiasm for sports, events, or athlete development to better connect with Prep Network’s mission.
  • Industry Experience. 2–4 years of UX design experience, ideally with exposure to high school prep sports or youth athletics.

  • Competitive Compensation. Targeted salary is $60,000 to $70,000. The starting salary will depend on the skills and applicable experience you bring to this role.
