Document Administration Specialist – Part-Time

We are seeking a Document Administration Specialist to contribute to our mail center in a part-time capacity. This individual will provide general department support functions including operating equipment for automated mailing and imaging processes and shipping out packages for the organization.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: Ideally one year of work experience in an office setting.
  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares, scans, and uploads incoming documents for Crop Hail (CH) and Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) policies into the FMHA system.
  • Imports, indexes, and routes documents for departments, placing them into to the proper workflows and document types, then into the appropriate systems (ImageRight, etc.) 
  • Operates mail processing equipment including printers, inserters, meters, and other equipment. Operates all assigned equipment with accuracy to achieve standard output.
  • Manually assembles for mailings to agents, insureds, loss payees, and other customers.
  • Receives and sorts incoming mail and packages and delivers to appropriate departments.
  • Operates spiral binding equipment to ensure all requested binding jobs are processed appropriately.
