Job description

Where You Will Work: 

Remote role open to candidates residing in Washington (WA) or Oregon (OR). (Branches)

Pay Range:

The target hourly pay range for this position is $33.17 - $37.69. The full hourly pay range is $30.15 - $45.23.

Job Overview:

This position provides a positive and efficient employee experience across the full employee lifecycle while ensuring operational excellence in People Operations processes. Serves as a key point of contact for employee inquiries, manages intake and triage of requests, and supports payroll, HRIS, and compliance activities.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Serves as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, managing and responding to requests received through shared inboxes, collaboration tools, and other intake channels; triages inquiries, resolves routine issues, and escalates complex matters as appropriate.
  • Supports the day-to-day operations of People Operations by coordinating employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes, ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience.
  • Maintains HRIS data integrity by processing employee transactions, ensuring accurate and timely updates to employee records and supporting data validation and auditing activities.
  • Provides backup support for payroll operations, including reviewing payroll reports, assisting with payroll cycles, and supporting compliance with multi-state payroll tax requirements, as needed.
  • Maintains documentation of payroll and People Operations processes to support internal controls, audit readiness, and business continuity.
  • Supports compliance with federal, state, and local employment and payroll laws, ensuring proper documentation, record retention, and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with teams such as Total Rewards, Finance, and Talent.
  • Experience to ensure accurate data flow and alignment across systems and processes.
  • Monitors trends in employee inquiries and operational workflows, contributing to the development of knowledge base content, standard operating procedures, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
  • Evaluates People Operations processes, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency, improved controls, and enhanced employee experience; participates in implementation of process improvements.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 2 years in an HR generalist or people operations role performing employee onboarding, offboarding and administration support.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn HRIS, payroll, and applicant tracking systems, including maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to ensure high levels of accuracy in data management and payroll-related processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume work, prioritize competing demands, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • High degree of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive employee and organizational information.

Total Rewards: 

This position is eligible for Full-Time Regular benefits. Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage.

  • Includes an option for Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance to be paid at a 100% by company for the employee only coverage. 
  • We also offer Health Care FSA (HCFSA), Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions, and Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA).
  • Employees also have access to Life and AD&D insurance.
  • Employees are able to enroll in our 401k plan.
  • Full-Time Regular employees accrue 8 hours of vacation and 8 hours of sick leave, on a monthly basis. 
  • Full-Time Regular hired employees also receive 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, 1 floating holiday, 16 hours of self-care time, and 16 hours of volunteer time.

All benefits except 401k start the first of the month following date of hire. Employees become eligible to contribute to 401k on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
