The University of Southern California School of Architecture seeks an experienced facilities professional to join our team as a Facilities Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience solving complex problems, will provide excellent customer service, have excellent project management skills with experience juggling multiple projects at once, have a calm and collected demeanor, and a positive attitude. The position will report to the Associate Dean of Finance at the School of Architecture and work closely with the Dean as well as school leadership. The Facilities Manager will perform a variety of duties, including:
Manage the maintenance, renovation, allocation and utilization of space and equipment for the School of Architecture.
This is a full-time permanent position located on the University Park Campus. This is a hybrid position with a 4-1 on site requirement. Depending on the school’s need, the position may have the ability to work from home one day a week, if workflow permits.

USC School of Architecture
The School’s footprint on USC’s main campus is located at Watt Hall, Harris Hall, and MacDonald Becket Center (MBC). Within these buildings, Architecture students have access to multiple working studios and classroom areas; a laser cutter lab, a 3D print lab, plotter center, wood shop, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) milling shed, and three main gallery spaces. The wood shop and yard at MBC are partially shared with Roski School of Art and Design, but areas for welding and other large-scale fabrication are reserved specifically for Architecture students.

The annual salary range is $115,000 - $124,204. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer alignment, federal, state and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
