Job description

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Digital Content Specialist Intern to join our Growth & Marketing Team. This internship provides hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, digital marketing, brand storytelling, audience engagement, and content strategy execution.

As a Digital Content Specialist Intern, you will work closely with marketing, operations, business development, and leadership teams to create compelling content that enhances our online presence, promotes our services, and engages our target audience across multiple digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Create engaging content for social media, blogs, newsletters, websites, and marketing campaigns.
  • Draft compelling captions, articles, promotional materials, and digital communications.
  • Assist in developing content calendars aligned with organizational goals and campaigns.
  • Ensure content reflects brand voice, messaging, and professional standards.

Social Media Management

  • Assist with managing company social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and other relevant channels.
  • Schedule, publish, and monitor content across digital platforms.
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries when appropriate.
  • Monitor social media trends and recommend content ideas to improve engagement.

Graphic & Multimedia Content Support

  • Assist in creating visual content using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Support the development of graphics, infographics, promotional materials, and short-form videos.
  • Collaborate with team members to produce multimedia content for marketing initiatives.

Website & Digital Presence

  • Assist in updating website content, blogs, landing pages, and digital resources.
  • Support SEO best practices by optimizing content for search engines.
  • Help ensure website information remains accurate, current, and engaging.

Content Performance & Analytics

  • Track and report content performance metrics across digital platforms.
  • Analyze engagement data and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in preparing weekly or monthly digital marketing reports.
  • Help identify opportunities to increase audience reach and engagement.

Brand Management & Communication

  • Support efforts to maintain brand consistency across all digital communications.
  • Ensure messaging aligns with company values, goals, and marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on campaigns, events, recruitment marketing, and promotional initiatives.

Research & Market Trends

  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and emerging digital marketing practices.
  • Identify content opportunities based on audience interests and market developments.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for campaigns and audience engagement strategies.

Continuous Learning

  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and marketing strategy discussions.
  • Stay informed on content marketing trends, emerging technologies, and social media best practices.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
