  • Evaluate and implement logistics technologies, systems, and platforms to enhance visibility, tracking, and operational efficiency across the network.

Fleet & Equipment Management

  • Provide executive oversight of fleet management operations, including vehicle and equipment procurement, utilization, maintenance, and disposal strategies;
  • Partner with operating company leadership to optimize fleet deployment and equipment availability in support of active and upcoming projects; and
  • Drive fleet cost management initiatives including total cost of ownership analysis, lease vs. buy evaluations, and utilization improvement programs.

Vendor & Carrier Management

  • Lead the development and management of strategic relationships with transportation carriers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight brokers, and logistics vendors;
  • Negotiate contracts, service level agreements, and pricing with logistics partners to ensure competitive, reliable, and compliant service delivery;
  • Monitor vendor performance against established SLAs and drive accountability through structured performance reviews; and
  • Identify and qualify new logistics partners to support geographic expansion and operating company growth.

Supply Chain & Procurement Alignment

  • Collaborate with the procurement and supply chain teams to align logistics strategy with material sourcing, inventory management, and project delivery timelines;
  • Support operating companies in managing inbound freight, staging, and kitting of materials to ensure right-time delivery to project sites; and
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate freight spend, leverage buying power, and reduce total logistics costs across the enterprise.

Compliance, Safety & Risk Management

  • Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, hazardous materials handling standards, and all applicable federal, state, and local transportation laws;
  • Champion a strong safety culture across all logistics and fleet operations, partnering with EHS leadership to drive zero-incident performance; and
  • Identify and mitigate logistics-related risks including supply disruption, carrier capacity constraints, and regulatory exposure.

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Own the logistics function's budget, forecasting, and financial performance reporting;
  • Identify and deliver cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities across transportation, warehousing, fleet, and freight spend; and
  • Provide regular logistics performance and financial reporting to senior leadership, including variance analysis and forward-looking trend assessments.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing logistics leadership team across QSI Management and supporting operating companies;
  • Partner with Human Resources on succession planning, talent development, and organizational design for the logistics function; and
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team.
