Job description

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer who brings an automation-first mindset to identity lifecycle across our enterprise. This role will work closely with Human Resources and technical leadership throughout the company to define role-based access, provisioning, and deprovisioning processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with architects, application owners, security teams, and infrastructure teams to identify opportunities to build scalable, secure, and auditable solutions. 

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with IT, HR, and Security stakeholders to define, document, and evolve Joiner, Change, and Leaver workflows. 
  • Recommend and deliver automated solutions to increase speed, reduce errors, improve security & auditability, and protect PII. 
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and technology owners to build automation for supporting the employee lifecycle – including workflows that establish identity, modify access, enable/revoke software and license entitlements.   
  • Build and maintain integrations between HR systems, Identity, ITSM, and endpoint management systems.  Key systems include on-prem Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, ServiceNow, Dayforce, CyberArk, Jira, Jamf, Intune, and Microsoft 365. 
  • Partner with internal engineers and data owners to deliver reliable automation outcomes. 
  • Create self-service tools and operational runbooks, as well as supporting documentation and procedures. 
  • Develop solutions using PowerShell, APIs, Active Roles, and Aquera. 
Qualifications:

 

 

  • 5+ years of experience developing infrastructure automation. 
  • Experience in design and/or support roles for Windows Server and Active Directory environments. 
  • Advanced PowerShell, as well as experience with Ansible and/or SaltStack. 
  • Experience with REST APIs, data ETL, and workflow tooling. 
  • Release management using Git-based version control system  and automated unit testing. 
  • Experience administering/improving Azure AD/Entra ID, hybrid identity, conditional access, multifactor authentication, and identity lifecycle processes. 
  • Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively at a business or technical level with internal partners to produce scalable, reliable automation. 
  • Ability to diagnose complex issues, communicate clearly, prioritize competing work, and execute independently in a collaborative environment. 

 

 

Preferred Experience 

  • Experience automating functions and configurations that leverage: 
  • Integration/Workflow Tools:  Aquera, Active Roles (ARS) 
  • IAC Tools:  Ansible, Terraform 
  • Access & AuthCyberArk, TACACS 
  • MDM: Intune, Jamf 
  • HCM: Dayforce 
  • Python experience is also a plus

It’s important to note the pay range may be narrower than displayed, as various factors are used to determine the offered compensation package including skill set, level of experience, geographic locations, and other relevant factors- i.e. budgetary requirements.
Pay Range $101,000.00 - $155,161.86
