Job description

Intapp is seeking an Application Security Engineer to help find and fix security vulnerabilities in our products. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn all our products and work with multiple product teams.

About Intapp:

Intapp, based in Silicon Valley, is a leader in Vertical AI SaaS company, collaborating with over 2,550 professional and financial services firms globally. With 20+ years of industry expertise, Intapp's "Intelligence Applied" approach is transforming how businesses operate and leverages a strategic partner with Microsoft in delivering industry cloud solutions. The company culture promotes accountability, responsibility, and growth in a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative environment. Since going public in 2021, Intapp has expanded to over 1,600 employees globally with development centers in Palo Alto, Charlotte, Belfast, Berlin, and Lisbon.

About Lisbon:

Intapp chose Lisbon for its engineering talent and that decision is reflected in what the centre has already become. The Lisbon R&D team has 50 team members that work on the full engineering stack: backend, frontend, full-stack, QA automation, data and ML, DevOps, and database engineering. These aren’t supporting functions for work happening elsewhere. They’re teams with real product ownership, working directly on the platforms that Intapp’s clients depend on.

Our ambition is clear: Lisbon is being built as a flagship R&D location alongside Palo Alto, Charlotte, Belfast, and Berlin. Engineers who join now help shape how the centre works: its culture, its practices, and its role in Intapp’s global engineering organisation.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform web application security tests to identify vulnerabilities in products

  • Conduct internal assessments to ensure security baselines are met

  • Perform vulnerability scans to ensure system components are configured properly

  • Triage vulnerability reports by reproducing issues and evaluating their impact

  • Work with developers to coordinate fixes and prepare release communications

  • Coordinate third party security assessments including scheduling, monitoring progress, and managing remediation of findings

What you’ll need:

  • 1-3 years in a security role, preferably as a penetration tester, developer, or QA

  • Thorough knowledge of web application security testing including the ability to identify and exploit common categories of vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10)

  • Experience analyzing vulnerabilities and assessing severity using CVSS

  • Comfortable automating common tasks using Python

  • Ability to speak and write fluently in English

What we offer at Intapp:

  • Attractive compensation — competitive base pay, performance-based variable pay, and equity/stock in Intapp (NASDAQ-listed).

  • A results-first culture — we trust people to manage their own time and judge their own output. We care about what you deliver, not when you logged on.

  • Reimbursement for training towards continuing education.

  • Generous paid parental leave (including adoptive leave), marriage leave, bereavement leave, carer’s leave, and paid sick days.

  • Meal allowance.

  • One-time home office stipend.

  • A state-of-the-art facility with fully stocked kitchen — 5-minute walk from Gare do Oriente.
