Job description

Job Summary:

The Tech Services team is responsible for ensuring every team member at Exos has the technology they need to do their best work. We handle everything from procuring and setting up hardware to managing accounts for our various software platforms to troubleshooting technical issues and more. We are looking for a Technical Services Analyst to join our small but mighty team. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks and be a crucial part of keeping our workplace running smoothly. We are a collaborative team that always looks for ways to improve how we work, and we hope you will approach your work with a similar mindset. This position will be remote, and ideally located in the Eastern Region/EST time-zone.

A Day in the Life:

No two days are exactly the same, but here is a glimpse into what you might be working on:

  • Monitoring and resolving technical support issues that come in through our ticketing system, Zendesk.

  • Ordering and configuring new hardware for our remote employees, then getting it shipped to them.

  • Determining what additional automations can help reduce the team’s workload

  • Working with our vendors to set up and configure new networks for our growing number of client sites.

  • Providing regular updates to your team on the status of your projects and tickets.

  • Participating in our light on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years experience in a full-time IT / help desk support role

  • Experience providing technical support both on-site and remotely

  • Experience administering Google Workspaces Business or Enterprise for organizations of 300+ people

  • Solid networking background, with experience troubleshooting network issues and setting up new networks from scratch

  • Experience with Windows environments (O365, OS, file/print, Active Directory, networking, etc) as well as Apple (MacOS setup, configuration and management, etc)

  • Experience with endpoint security tools and a fundamental knowledge of computer and network security concepts

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with our core tools like FileWave (MDM) and Crowdstrike Falcon (endpoint security)

  • Scripting experience, especially using PowerShell

  • Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, Google, Cisco, etc.)

  • Experience with the setup and support of on-premise and/or VOIP phone systems

  • A thorough understanding of various network protocols, including but not limited to DHCP, DNS, FTP, and LDAP

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $65,000 - $70,000/year. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs. Exos offers a comprehensive benefits package for all full time employees (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Additionally, Exos offers a variety of part time benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
