Digital Marketing Account Manager (Local SEO & Google Business Profile) – Remote

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Digital Marketing Account Manager to manage a portfolio of client accounts while driving measurable improvements in Google Business Profile performance and local search visibility.

This is a hands-on execution role—not a strategy-only position.

You’ll personally optimize Google Business Profiles, execute Local SEO initiatives, manage digital marketing tools, and serve as the primary point of contact for monthly client reporting and account management.

Working with approximately 15–20 client accounts, you’ll help businesses in the storage, parking, RV, boat storage, and local service industries improve their online presence while building strong, long-term client relationships through clear communication and measurable results.

What You’ll Own

Google Business Profile Optimization

  • Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles across multiple client locations.
  • Improve local search visibility through ongoing profile optimization.
  • Maintain accurate:
    • Business information
    • Categories
    • Services
    • Photos
    • Posts
    • Attributes
  • Develop strategies that increase visibility, engagement, and customer actions.

Local SEO Management

  • Execute Local SEO strategies to improve rankings in Google Maps and local search.
  • Monitor and maintain NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) consistency across online directories.
  • Manage citations and identify opportunities to strengthen local authority.
  • Implement review generation and reputation management best practices.
  • Monitor local search performance and recommend ongoing optimization opportunities.

Client Account Management

  • Independently manage a portfolio of approximately 15–20 client accounts.
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and support.
  • Conduct monthly performance review meetings with clients.
  • Present campaign performance, insights, recommendations, and next steps in clear, non-technical language.
  • Identify retention and upsell opportunities where appropriate.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare monthly digital marketing performance reports.
  • Analyze:
    • Google Business Profile performance
    • Local rankings
    • Search visibility
    • Customer engagement
  • Identify trends and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Present performance data in a client-friendly format.

Marketing Tools & Process Improvement

  • Evaluate, implement, and manage digital marketing tools that improve service delivery.
  • Recommend automation tools and workflow improvements.
  • Stay current with:
    • Google Business Profile updates
    • Local SEO best practices
    • Emerging digital marketing technologies

Internal Collaboration

  • Partner with internal account management teams to ensure an outstanding client experience.
  • Support leadership with reporting for key enterprise accounts.
  • Quickly learn internal software platforms and accurately interpret marketing data.
