NTT DATA's Client is currently seeking an Empower Configuration Consultant to join their team in Richmond, VA. (Remote)


Job Description:


Role & responsibilities:
  • Configure and maintain the Empower Loan Origination System (LOS) to support mortgage lending operations, including loan products, workflows, screens, fields, business rules, and automation settings.
  • Analyze business requirements from Operations, Underwriting, Processing, Closing, Compliance, and Secondary Marketing teams, and translate them into scalable Empower system configurations.Design and manage workflow automation, task routing, conditions, alerts, and approval processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention across the loan lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain configuration documentation, including business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, testing results, and system change logs.
  • Support system integrations with third-party vendors, Point-of-Sale (POS) applications, compliance tools, credit vendors, pricing engines, and servicing platforms within the Empower ecosystem.
  • Perform impact analysis, testing, and validation for system enhancements, upgrades, regulatory changes, and new product implementations to ensure platform stability and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot configuration-related issues by analyzing system behavior, identifying root causes, and coordinating with business users, technical teams, and vendor support for resolution.
  • Create and maintain reports, custom data mappings, and configuration settings to support operational reporting, performance tracking, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders and project teams to implement new mortgage products, investor guidelines, and process improvements while ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Provide production support and user guidance by conducting configuration reviews, user acceptance testing (UAT), training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities to maximize adoption and system utilization.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is $60-$71/hour This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position is eligible for company benefits including participation in medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending or health savings account, and AD&D insurance, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits
