Job description

Employment type

Full-time or part-time (30 hours or more per week)

YOU...

will shape how aviation professionals work with complex data – from the initial idea to the finished product. You’ll transform challenging business and technical requirements into clear, intuitive UX concepts, advance our design system, and use AI as a natural part of your process. You’re the person who ensures that our products not only work but also feel right – consistently across all our products.

YOU...

  • understand our users’ needs, challenge assumptions, and validate your concepts – so that, in the end, solutions are created that work in real-world work environments
  • collaborate with product management and development to turn customer requirements into UX concepts, information architectures, design solutions, and user flows that make complex aviation processes simple and logical
  • actively use AI tools to move faster from idea to concept – exploring variations, creating prototypes, and validating design decisions
  • further develop our design system, maintain components and tokens, and ensure a consistent visual identity across all products
  • will work with the development team to assess the technical feasibility of your concepts and support the implementation process through to completion
  • will gradually take on design responsibility for individual products – right through to full ownership

YOU...

  • have experience in UI/UX design, ideally for data-intensive, technical B2B applications
  • are proficient in Figma – it’s your daily tool
  • are familiar with information architecture, user flows, and working on and with a design system
  • productively integrate AI tools (e.g., Claude, Figma AI, etc.) into your daily design workflow
  • transform complex, technical requirements into simple, compelling concepts
  • hold a degree in interface design, human-computer interaction, or a related field – or have equivalent practical experience
  • communicate confidently in German and English
  • have a basic understanding of HTML/CSS – a plus, but not a requirement
  • work in a structured, independent, and team-oriented manner

WE...

  • work with a team spirit rather than a hierarchical structure – an open corporate culture, short decision-making paths, and no micromanagement
  • give you real creative freedom and create space for creativity, curiosity, and your own ideas – you help shape our products
  • offer a varied daily project routine in a stable, industry-leading aviation environment with international clients (airlines, airports, ATC) and long-term relationships
  • equip you with modern tools and use AI tools (Claude & Co.) as a natural part of our workflow
  • let you choose: mobile office anywhere in Germany or at our Frankfurt office – up to 100% possible in either case
  • enable “workations,” so you can work from other EU countries
  • bring the entire company together at two major corporate events each year – plus a separate event just for the team
