Job description

This is a remote position.

  • Project Documentation: Assist the design team in creating detailed work drawings and architectural construction documentation translating design intent into technical drawings.
  • Design Support: Collaborate closely with the design team, translating design concepts into accurate and detailed documentation that aligns with the project’s creative vision.
  • Standards and Quality: Ensure that all project documentation adheres to industry standards and company quality expectations, with a focus on design quality and accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the design team, project leaders and directors to ensure that the documentation reflect the project’s creative and functional goals and brief.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain relationships and facilitate effective communication with management and co-workers to contribute to discussion and monitoring of workflows, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Software: Experienced with Revit and Enscape 3D, and using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign, is an advantage. 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in architectural documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting design teams, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of architectural and construction principles.
  • Strong knowledge of Revit (is preferred), including family creation, template setup, and model management. 
  • Understanding of construction processes and methodologies, including Industry Codes and Australian Standards.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills with the ability to be an active team participant. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to design and documentation workflows.
