Senior Accountant (f/m/x)

We’re now expanding our presence with a new Business Service Center in Warsaw, Poland, a key hub primarily for our growing Digital & Tech-squads.

We are offering a remote role from Poland with occasional travel to our Warsaw office, based on a full-time employment contract.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for local accounting activities in Poland. This role requires solid experience in Polish accounting, preparation of financial statements (IFRS, local and tax reporting), and support direct and indirect tax compliance, including VAT, CIT, withholding tax and statutory tax reporting.

Your contribution:

• You will be responsible for all accounting activities in line with Polish and IFRS accounting standards (AP, AR, Assets, expenses reimbursements, payroll etc…), including collaboration with consultants and Global Tax team about indirect and direct tax
• You will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities for Breitling Poland
• You will prepare tax-related financial statements and ensure compliance with Polish tax regulations
• You will ensure proper maintenance for the accounting general ledger  in accordance local accounting and tax reporting requirements
• You will be responsible for internal and external audits
• You will contribute to process improvements and data quality initiatives

You will fit well to our squad if: 

• You have 7+ years of experience in accounting
• You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• You have hands-on experience in preparing financial statements
• You are familiar with Polish accounting rules and tax declaration requirements
• You have experience preparing documentation required by tax authorities
• You have strong analytical and conceptual skills
• You demonstrate a result-driven working attitude
• You have a flair for accounting systems and data management
• You are able to understand and adapt to changing priorities
• You have advanced knowledge of Excel
• You are fluent in Polish and English, both written and spoken
• You have knowledge of SAP
