What We’re Looking For

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team! The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for providing daily support to the Trillium pharmacy team in coordinating work with the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) and the State Department of Health Benefits (DHB) in the coordination and maintenance of the pharmacy program initiatives. The Pharmacy Technician will provide support to the pharmacy team in the administration of clinical programs including Medication Reconciliations and other clinical reviews. Additionally, this role will be responsible for data analysis and reports.

On a typical day, you might:

Support the Pharmacy Director on various projects.
Assist in performing medication reconciliations under the supervision of the Clinical Pharmacy Director or Clinical Pharmacist.
Assist Trillium team members with pharmacy related information/projects.
Assist with pharmacy provider network outreach and communication.
Assist with members’ inquiries related to the formulary/preferred drug list (PDL) process, or access issues during member interaction.

Qualifications

Required:

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of one (1) working year of pharmacy operations with one (1) year in managed care.
Certified Pharmacy Technician with licensure with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must reside within North Carolina.
Must be able to travel within catchment as required.
