We're looking for a commercially astute Senior Manager - Commercial & Strategic Sourcing to partner with our Parcels business and lead high-impact procurement initiatives that drive value, improve service outcomes and support sustainable growth.
This is an opportunity for a senior procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys influencing at all levels of the business, and wants to make a tangible impact on one of Australia's leading transport and logistics networks.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies that align with business priorities and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
Lead complex commercial analysis, including total cost of ownership modelling, market benchmarking and supplier performance reviews to identify value creation opportunities.
Manage high-value supplier negotiations and commercial agreements, ensuring the right balance between cost, performance and risk.
Partner closely with Parcels, Operations, Finance and Legal stakeholders to shape procurement strategies and support key business initiatives.
Drive end-to-end strategic sourcing projects, from opportunity identification through to contract execution and implementation.
Build strong relationships with key suppliers and monitor performance against contractual commitments and service expectations.
Deliver insights and recommendations to senior leaders through business cases, commercial analysis and procurement reporting.
What You'll Bring
Extensive strategic sourcing and procurement experience, ideally 12+ years managing complex categories and commercial portfolios.
A strong track record leading commercial negotiations, contract management and supplier engagement programs.
Experience developing category strategies, business cases and commercial recommendations that influence executive decision-making.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across diverse business groups.
Strong analytical capability, including cost modelling, procurement performance analysis and market assessment.
Experience delivering complex projects that involve multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and transformational change.
Experience within transport, logistics, supply chain or delivery partner environments - nice to have
