Your role in our team
As our new Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the team's efforts to secure and protect the products, systems and services that Terma provide. You will work closely with seasoned specialists, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to significant projects.
Moreover, you will be working with various teams across the organization to identify security needs, integrate security measures into their workflows, and support the development and delivery of security training programs for employees in Research and Development.
Your main focus will be on implementing security measures, analyzing threats, identifying mitigations, and working with other teams to ensure our products are secure.
How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include:

- Technical Execution: Develop and apply security measures to safeguard our products from cyber threats. Manage and respond to security incidents to minimize impact and recovery time. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and standards
- System Architecture Design: Collaborate with system architects to design and implement secure systems that meet regulatory and customer requirements. Participate in threat modeling sessions to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Threat Analysis and Mitigation: Continuously monitor and analyze security threats and vulnerabilities to our products. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to mitigate identified risks based on your analysis
- Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for security policies, procedures, and protocols. Prepare reports on security projects, including findings, recommendations, and implementation plans
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity. Use new knowledge to enhance the organization's security posture
You will be joining an energetic and innovative team within our department of Cyber & Quantum Technology under R&D. Bring your world class expertise into play
You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. We are seeking a candidate with a strong technical background and a passion for cybersecurity. Moreover, to thrive in this role, you should possess the following competencies:

- A technical degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, computer Networks, or a related field of study
- Cybersecurity Expertise: Design and implement security controls to protect our products, systems and services
- Software Development Skills: Proficiency in developing, testing, and deploying software solutions
- Documentation Writing Skills: Ability to produce clear and detailed technical documentation
As a person, you are naturally curious and motivated by understanding how systems work and how different technical elements connect. You approach tasks in an analytical and methodical way, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to identify patterns and connect information across logs, alerts, and data sources.
You are also able to communicate complex technical findings in a clear and accessible way to non-technical stakeholders. Finally, you are adaptable and committed to continuous learning, with a genuine interest in keeping up with a rapidly evolving technical landscape.
