Job description

Kindgeek is looking for a curious, fast-learning engineer who’s eager to build a strong DevOps foundation and grow into a confident infrastructure specialist. Your mission will be to support and maintain project infrastructure alongside senior engineers, taking on more ownership as your skills develop. This is a role built for someone who wants to learn fast and make a real impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the administration and maintenance of project infrastructure under senior guidance;
  • Assisting with the deployment and management of infrastructure services, including Kubernetes clusters and cloud environments;
  • Helping provision and manage cloud resources (VMs, storage, databases) using Infrastructure as Code;
  • Supporting and helping maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth software delivery;
  • Configuring and monitoring logging and alerting systems, and helping resolve routine issues;
  • Collaborating with developers, QA, and the broader team on day-to-day operational tasks;
  • Providing first-line DevOps support and escalating complex issues to senior engineers.

REQUIREMENTS

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who has:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a DevOps role;
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (core services);
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform;
  • Hands-on exposure to containers and basic orchestration (Docker; Kubernetes basics);
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems (Jenkins is a plus);
  • Basic understanding of networking, security, and microservice architecture;
  • A strong desire to learn, take feedback, and grow quickly;
  • Upper-intermediate or higher English level.

Will be a plus:

  • Any exposure to the fintech domain;
  • Familiarity with Terragrunt;
  • Interest in monitoring, security, or FinOps practices.
