Virtual Sales Assistant

Location: Remote — Colombia

Work Arrangement: This is a fully remote (telecommute) position.

Employment Type: Full-Time (Contractor)

Industry: Retail & E-commerce / Consumer Electronics

Compensation: $480 – $1,440 USD/hour + Performance Bonuses

English Proficiency: Advanced (C1/C2) – Excellent written English is required.

Schedule: Full-Time | US Eastern Time (EST/EDT), including weekend availability

Start Date: As Soon As Possible


About the Role

We're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Virtual Sales Assistant to help identify and secure purchasing opportunities for a fast-growing electronics resale business.

This is more than a traditional virtual assistant role. You'll act as an online deal hunter, sourcing inventory, negotiating with sellers, and helping convert opportunities into profitable purchases. Success in this role requires excellent written communication, strong negotiation skills, and a competitive mindset.

What You'll Do

Inventory Sourcing

• Search online marketplaces for products that meet purchasing criteria.

• Identify high-value inventory opportunities based on company guidelines.

• Evaluate listings and gather relevant product information.

Seller Communication & Negotiation

• Contact sellers through online platforms to verify product condition and functionality.

• Negotiate pricing using established purchasing guidelines.

• Build positive relationships with sellers while maximizing deal value.

Pipeline & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of leads, negotiations, and purchasing opportunities in Google Sheets.

• Track follow-ups and update deal status consistently.

• Provide regular progress updates to the team.

Team Collaboration

• Participate in daily and weekly team meetings.

• Share feedback to improve sourcing processes and overall performance.

• Collaborate with the purchasing team to maximize successful acquisitions.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Experience in sales, SDR, virtual assistance, customer service, negotiations, or online marketplace operations.

• Excellent written English communication skills.

• Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

• Comfortable managing multiple conversations simultaneously.

• Self-motivated and results-oriented.

• Proficiency with Google Sheets or similar spreadsheet tools.

• Availability to work US Eastern Time (EST/EDT), including weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience buying or selling products through online marketplaces.

• Background in electronics, retail, e-commerce, or resale businesses.

• Experience in lead generation or outbound sales.

• Familiarity with Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, Craigslist, eBay, or similar platforms.
