Job description

Smadex is a leading advertising technology company founded in Barcelona in 2010 and acquired by US-based, publicly traded Entravision (NYSE: EVC) in 2018. We are one of the top mobile ad-tech companies in the world and the largest Demand Side Platform (DSP) based in Europe, with revenues over $100M and consistently growing year over year.

As a Product Manager, Retargeting you will own the strategy and execution for our retargeting product, building the capabilities that help advertisers re-engage and win back their existing users. You'll work hand in hand with engineering to shape the roadmap and roll out features across audiences, dynamic creatives, and measurement, while aligning commercial, marketing, and operations teams around a shared direction.

This position is based in Barcelona (hybrid).

Role's tasks and responsibilities:

  • Own product strategy and execution for our retargeting vertical, driving innovative ideas, features, and products with leadership and decisive action, and continuously assessing new development and enhancement opportunities.
  • Work closely with engineering to prioritize development, and align commercial, marketing, and operations teams on timelines and strategy, clearly defining, representing, and communicating product developments across the company.
  • Set the metrics and experimentation approach for your area, making data-based decisions to decide what is shipped, monitoring results, and keeping the business relevant and competitive.
  • Partner with data science and creative teams to improve audience segmentation, dynamic creatives, and attribution, ensuring re-engagement campaigns deliver measurable incremental value. 
  • Stay at the forefront of AdTech, retargeting and audience technologies, industry trends, and privacy regulations that shape addressability and measurement.

Role's skills and requirements:

  • Technical degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in Product Management.
  • Solid understanding of user re-engagement and the mobile measurement ecosystem (attribution, MMPs, audiences, and deep linking).
  • Fluency with data. You can write SQL and work independently with data to answer your own questions.
  • Demonstrated experience in hypothesis-driven learning and turning data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written communication. You write specs that hold up to technical scrutiny and need little editing before they ship.

Preferred:

  • Experience in programmatic advertising, adtech, or another real-time bidding or marketplace environment.
  • Familiarity with mobile attribution, MMPs, or privacy-driven measurement.
