We are currently seeking a Site Engagement Liaison to join our diverse and dynamic team.
As a Site Engagement Liaison at ICON, you will not have direct responsibility for on-site monitoring activities. However, you may provide support to clinical studies and conduct quality-related site visits as needed.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with study teams to develop and implement site engagement strategies, serving as a trusted advisor and facilitator. Your primary focus will be on identifying and removing site-level and enrollment-related barriers to enhance study performance and participant recruitment.
What you will be doing
Serve as an effective communication “bridge” between sites, third party vendors and the sponsor
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders at clinical trial sites, including principal investigators, site coordinators, and research staff.
Monitoring site performance metrics and providing regular updates to study teams on site engagement activities and outcomes.
Collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement site engagement strategies tailored to the specific needs of each study and site.
Identifying opportunities to improve site engagement and optimize site performance through regular communication and feedback mechanisms.
Providing support and guidance to site staff on study protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and successful study conduct.
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Experience in clinical research and strong working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice
Prior experience as a CRA would be an advantage
Travel required ( approx. 50%)
Fluent in English as well as required language to conduct day-to-day business
Therapeutic expertise and knowledge of the clinical research landscape; ability to acquire and maintain therapeutic expertise to support portfolio needs
Strong self-management and organizational skills; ability to manage workload, set personal priorities and adjust as needed
