Job description

We are seeking a Marketing Operations Intern to assist with Marketing Operations functions. You will learn and work with our major marketing technologies like SalesForce and Marketo while assisting with the health and data integrity of these systems. You must have a curious mind, willingness to learn and excellent attention to detail.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day management of our marketing operations foundation, as well as across other core marketing technologies
  • Assist with marketing database, including maintaining clean lists, standardizing segment groups, and optimizing the internal data structure for GPS
  • Create and maintain marketing operations documentation and processes
  • Monitor database health and collaborate with internal teams on data quality initiatives
  • Support management of contacts database to ensure good data hygiene and privacy data compliance
  • Compile multiple data sources and create reports and dashboards to be used to drive
    marketing decisions

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Experience with CRM databases and Marketing Automation Platform preferred such as SalesForce and Marketo
  • Advanced Excel skills including formulas, v-lookup, conditional formats, pivot tables, etc.

Internship Details and Expectations

This is a part-time, remote paid internship ($20hr) that is offered as part of our GPSU program from August 31, 2026 - February 26, 2027 . The intern is expected to:

  • Work a majority of hours between 11am-4pm EST Monday through Friday, ranging from 25-29hrs/wk
  • Have a personal computing device and access to high-speed internet during working hours

This position is not available for candidates living in the following states: Alaska, California, Hawaii, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Washington State and Wyoming.
