Senior US & International Tax Advisor

Location: United States (Remote)

POSITION SUMMARY

The organization seeks a senior tax professional to serve as its principal authority on United States and international taxation. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across the firm, oversee a regional team of tax professionals, and contribute directly to client advisory engagements. In addition to technical responsibilities, the position carries a mandate to strengthen the firm's delivery model through the design and implementation of improved processes, structures, and automation initiatives.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the firm's designated subject-matter authority on US and international tax matters, providing technical guidance across all functional areas.

Direct, develop, and review the work of a LATAM-based team comprising senior and analyst-level tax professionals.

Represent the firm in client engagements, including prospective-client discussions and ongoing advisory matters.

Assume responsibility for the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of cross-border tax structures.

Evaluate existing workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead the implementation of process enhancements and automation.

Coordinate with the product and operations functions to support the scalability of the firm's service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

A minimum of five to six years of professional experience in taxation; experience in international or cross-border matters is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience supervising, mentoring, or reviewing the work of professionals at the analyst and senior levels.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing.

Proven ability to conduct client-facing discussions with confidence and professionalism.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

A demonstrated orientation toward process improvement, beyond the execution of assigned work.

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES

Advanced proficiency in Spanish.

Prior experience serving startup or technology-sector clients.

Familiarity with, or interest in, artificial intelligence and automation as applied to professional services.
