Role:  Motion Graphics Designer

Location:  Remote until further notice

 

About the role: 

The Mid Motion Designer will be responsible for the creation and production of animated content, from brief to final delivery. This role will provide new ideas and creativity whilst working closely with the brand guidelines. They will work alongside an established team, under the supervision of senior creatives dedicated to the account, and in direct collaboration with the client. The role is fast paced and responsive, working across multiple different projects and clients within the organisation. This is a great opportunity to work within a team, creating impactful communications Globally and developing best practices. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Design and produce animated and static content that meets the brand’s needs across a variety of formats: Instagram Reels and posts, Snapchat, DOOH, digital, in-store, etc. 
  • Oversee the entire production process: briefing, concept development, storyboarding, and final execution. 
  • As well as developing with your own concepts, you’ll sometimes use existing assets and stock imagery to come up with relevant and up to date content. 
  • Occasional retouching and photo-manipulation. 
  • Present and pitch ideas to the client and internal teams. 
  • Collaborate closely with brand stakeholders, agency Creative Director, Art Director, Designers, Copywriters and Project Managers. 
  • Ensure consistency and compliance with the brand’s visual identity. 
  • Deliver final assets in line with technical specifications. 
  • Stay up to date with design, pop culture, and social media trends. 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a creative environment. 
  • Fluent spoken English and excellent written skills. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Premier Pro.  
  • Strong conceptual and storytelling skills. 
  • Solid expertise in 2D animation: typography, transitions, characters, objects, etc. 
  • A good knowledge or history of work in Social Media projects. 
  • Passionate about editing & motion graphics and understanding the latest innovations in digital & social design. 
  • Strong creative sensibility and passion for pop culture. 
  • Team-oriented mindset: positive, collaborative, sociable, and attentive. 
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 
  • Good eye for detail, constantly working to train the eye and creative taste level. 
  • Able to work both independently, and collaboratively within a team. 
  • Strong communication skills – able to express themselves clearly. 
  • Ability to adhere to internal processes, including following brand guidelines. 
  • Ability to accurately prepare files for various platforms and run the relevant pre-production checks. 
  • Planning & executing work in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Comfortable working directly with clients — proactive, diplomatic, and good listener. 
  • Interest in the Health and Hygiene industry.
