Job Overview

Our client is a specialist UK-based recruitment consultancy looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Resourcer to join their growing team.

Working remotely from South Africa, you will support an experienced Recruitment Consultant by identifying, engaging and qualifying high-calibre candidates across specialist markets. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional who enjoys sourcing talent, building candidate relationships and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing

  • Source high-quality candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, CV databases and professional networks.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive candidates.
  • Headhunt specialist talent using creative and targeted search techniques.
  • Conduct market mapping to identify potential candidates for current and future vacancies.

Candidate Screening & Assessment

  • Conduct telephone and video interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  • Qualify candidates against role requirements and present shortlisted candidates to the Recruitment Consultant.
  • Build strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage candidate expectations with professionalism and clear communication.

Recruitment Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the ATS and CRM.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications.
  • Ensure recruitment documentation and candidate information are completed accurately.
  • Support recruitment campaigns and ongoing talent pipeline management.

Business Support

  • Assist with market research and talent mapping projects.
  • Provide recruitment intelligence and market insights.
  • Support business development initiatives through proactive candidate engagement.
  • Work closely with the Recruitment Consultant to deliver an outstanding recruitment service.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 2–3 years' experience as a Recruitment Resourcer, Recruitment Researcher or Recruitment Coordinator.
  • Previous experience supporting permanent recruitment assignments.
  • International recruitment experience, preferably within the UK or US markets.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • A confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM platforms.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.

Equipment Requirements

  • Reliable laptop or desktop computer.
  • Stable, high-speed internet connection.
  • Professional home office environment suitable for remote working.
  • Backup power solution is advantageous.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST, subject to UK daylight savings).
  • Fully remote, working from anywhere in South Africa.
