The Recovery Manager is responsible for the management of the Recovery team in the Account Servicing department, overseeing collection efforts on both secured and unsecured accounts worked directly as the originating creditor.
This role drives continual training, development, and process improvement across the department while ensuring all activities remain compliant with applicable regulations and maintains effective execution of recovery strategies across all delinquency stages while managing external vendor relationships to maximize recovery outcomes.
Pay Range: USD $65,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr. Responsibilities:Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, communications, or a related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field; OR a minimum of 3 years' experience in collections, recovery, or financial services in a comparable role.
Experience working with both secured and unsecured accounts as an originating creditor preferred.
Prior experience managing external recovery vendors is strongly preferred.
