Job description

About linqd.
We power growth for some of the biggest names in the building products industry, helping manufacturers and distributors connect with more customers, expand market share, and achieve measurable results. We’re a 100% virtual sales organization built on relationships, accountability, and performance. We’re looking for proven sales professionals who understand how to connect with customers, ask the right questions, identify needs, and recommend solutions that drive purchasing decisions.

If you have experience in HVAC, building materials, hospitality, or another high-volume transactional sales environment, you understand what it takes to build trust quickly, manage conversations, overcome objections, and turn opportunities into results.

At linqd., you’ll have the opportunity to leverage those skills in a consultative inside sales role supporting leading brands in the building products industry.

Job Summary:
As an Inside Sales Professional, you’ll use your customer-facing sales experience to engage prospects and clients, uncover needs, recommend solutions, and drive revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully sold products or services in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and influencing buying decisions.

Your ability to quickly establish rapport, understand customer challenges, explain value, and close opportunities will be critical to your success. Whether your background is selling HVAC solutions, building products, home services, or other transactional products and services, you’ll bring your sales expertise into a virtual environment where activity, accountability, and results matter.

This is a sales role, not a customer service position. While you will support customers through professional communication, your primary responsibility is identifying opportunities, generating revenue, influencing purchasing decisions, and consistently achieving sales goals.

Role Overview:

  • Execute sales campaigns via phone with a strong emphasis on identifying key decision-makers and influencing purchasing decisions.
  • Supplement outreach with email and text to strengthen relationships and uncover opportunities.
  • Identify customer needs and provide tailored, value-based solutions.
  • Facilitate and close sales opportunities to consistently achieve revenue goals.
  • Leverage ERP and CRM platforms to track pipeline activity, maintain accurate data, and ensure disciplined follow-up.
  • Balance high activity levels with relationship nurturing and sales pipeline management across multiple accounts.

What You Bring:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technical Field, or related discipline preferred.
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience in HVAC, building products, hospitality, or another transactional sales environment.
  • Experience managing customer conversations, uncovering needs, presenting solutions, handling objections, and closing sales.
  • Ability to quickly build credibility and trust with customers through strong communication and consultative selling skills.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume sales environment with defined goals, performance metrics, and activity expectations.
  • Building products industry experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction materials, or related fields) strongly preferred.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Strong ability to navigate multiple systems and programs while maintaining accurate customer information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Motivated by goals, competition, and measurable success; thrives in a performance-driven environment.
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with customers, teammates, and business partners.

Virtual Work Requirement:
At linqd., we are proud to be a 100% virtual workforce. To maintain our high standards of productivity, security, and collaboration, we require the following home office set up for all remote team members:

  • All equipment is supplied and maintained by linqd.
  • Employees are responsible for providing, at their own expense, a workspace that is distraction-free and optimally designed for productivity and comfort, with suitable seating, lighting, and work surfaces. linqd. provides a work-from-home reimbursement to help with these efforts.
  • The workspace must be secure and protect company information.
  • A hardwired internet connection is required to ensure quality assurance and compliance. Minimum internet speeds of 35 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload are required for optimal performance.
  • You must be logged in and accessible during your scheduled work hours. Active participation in team and customer meetings is expected—these may be conducted via Teams video or phone.
  • Depending on business needs and client requirements, occasional travel may be required, which may include overnight trips.
  • A commitment to clear and consistent communication is essential to support team collaboration.

If you’re motivated to win, want to put your sales skills to work, and deliver results that matter, we want you on the linqd. team.
