Job Summary:

The Financial Improvement Advisor Intermediate will provide operational financial support for assigned business cases and/or respective workstreams. This includes elements of project management, finance system proficiency, and financial modeling. This role provides financial management leadership to performance improvement initiatives. This role will collaborate and coordinate with project management and integration management teams, other finance teams, enterprise analytic teams, and operational leadership to ensure performance improvement goal achievement and compliance with financial standards and procedures.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for leading teams using the financial improvement methodology of Define, Validate, Approve, Track, Report for identified workstreams, business cases, and initiatives.
  • Maintain processes that continuously identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost reduction, and process improvements.
  • Uses key financial management tools such as benchmarking reports, monthly management reports, and other Strata data to identify financial opportunities.
  • Maintains documentation of value measurement methodologies and monitors the validation of actual results with periodic reviews of source documents and P&L.
  • Works closely with financial planning and analytics and business/finance partners teams to ensure financial improvement initiatives are incorporated into enterprise-wide rolling forecasting, long-range financial planning, capital budgeting, business planning, and management reporting.
  • Collaborate with Transformation Management Office (TMO) resources throughout project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Integration Management Office (IMO) resources throughout project lifecycle.
  • Responsible for the financial validation and tracking of identified workstreams, business cases, and initiatives.
  • Leads assigned project work and teams to ensure accurate and timely achievement of department goals.
  • Provides accurate financial performance reporting from financial tracking tools including developing value-added management reporting, analysis, insights, and commentary.
  • Participates in special projects, committees, and initiatives as assigned to support finance and/or operational initiatives.
  • Actively seeks input from members of the management and finance teams when appropriate.
