Position Summary

This role is part of a critical team that tests the indoor air quality of residential and commercial buildings. It is responsible for installing radon testing devices and communicating with facility owners/ coordinators to ensure proper installation and successful testing.

 Essential Functions

  • Ensuring proper installation of testing devices
  • Travel locally and nationally
  • Proper completion of necessary paperwork
  • Meet project deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Consistent and constant communication with project team members
  • Onsite decision making to ensure a successful consultation
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within and meet established deadlines
  • Punctual
  • Highly organized and attention to detail
  • Skilled in use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be familiar with basic shipping standards to mail necessary equipment to remote locations
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history

 Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • This job operates primarily in a field environment and routinely requires walking, climbing stairs and lifting of equipment.
  • This job also uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
  • Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds

 Travel Required

  • Up to 100% travel M-F, depending on the weekly schedule. Travel can be local in a vehicle or plane.

 Education and Requirements 

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • NRPP certification for radon measurement, or ability to obtain this certification within established timeline upon hire.
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience, preferably in a field environment
  • Self-starter with a proven track record of working independently
